InstantLabs® novel diagnostic tools are set to lead the way and deliver credible value to our customers in each global market. Our enabling technology will have a positive impact on public health, homeland security, food safety, law enforcement, and veterinary markets. Hunter® our 4th generation Accelerated Polymerase Chain Reaction (A-PCR) device significantly reduces the time, effort and resources required for state-of-the-art testing. InstantLabs® will improve service and save time while concurrently reducing sample and reagent requirements, and the cost of pathogenic testing.
Hunter Accelerated RT-PCR®

Hunter, the fourth generation Accelerated RT-PCR® is a real time PCR (RT-PCR) device from InstantLabs® which will launch in the first quarter of 2010. Hunter will initially be available for the Food Safety industry with healthcare-focused pathogen detection available following the FDA regulatory approval process.
Multiple Assay Disposable Cartridge

MACs are capable of testing six individual samples for a single analyte, or 6 analytes from a single sample. For example, a single MAC will run an Influenza panel that includes seasonal, avian (H5N1) and swine (H1N1) flu on a single chip in a single run. In the food safety market, MACs can be configured to meet the needs of the production facility. Individual wells may be utilized for zone testing of a single pathogen or MACs are bar coded for the specific assays included on the cartridge. A simple “swipe” communicates with the Reader-Controller, all the technician need do is verify the test request. The new MAC design is optimized for rapid thermal transfer and optical detection. Lyophilized reagents are integrated into the reaction chambers to allow for easy injection of the “wet” elements of the protocol. MACs are injection molded and robotically assembled ensuring consistent results. The unique “side-view” design enables many of our new innovations in pathogen detection.
