GSA MAS Consolidation: What is GSA MAS Consolidation?
In the past, 24 GSA Schedules existed within the Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) program.
These Schedules are being consolidated in order to simplify the government procurement and contract development process with private businesses.

Why?
It was becoming difficult for both government entities and private businesses to keep up with all of the different contracts that were being developed
It was becoming difficult from there to apply for more Schedule contracts due to contractual and terms/conditions differences.
There was a lot of duplication of clauses, products, and services that further confused the whole process.
