Rebuilding Valor: Standing with the National Center for Healthy Veterans
At Government Marketing and Procurement (GMP), we believe America is only as strong as the men and women who have stood to defend her. That’s why we’re proud to raise our voice in support of the National Center for Healthy Veterans (NCHV) and their Valor Farm Fire Relief Campaign—a mission of restoration, recovery, and revival.
In November 2024, a devastating fire destroyed essential facilities at Valor Farm, a sacred space where veterans—called “Patriots”—go to heal from the visible and invisible wounds of war. Now, they’re rebuilding. And they need our help.

Why Valor Farm Matters
Since 9/11, more than 2.7 million service members have been deployed globally. Many have experienced repeated combat tours. While most return and transition successfully, thousands do not—struggling with PTSD, brain injuries, addiction, broken families, and the crushing burden of moral injury and suicide.
More than 17 veterans die by suicide each day.
Valor Farm, located in the quiet countryside near Altavista, Virginia, offers a faith-based, nine-month residential program that helps at-risk veterans reset their lives and reclaim their purpose. Through equine therapy, trauma-informed care, meaningful work, and Christ-centered community, NCHV’s programs address every aspect of the human condition: body, mind, soul, and spirit.

This is not just a treatment center. It is a pathway to restoration.

The fire destroyed critical equine therapy infrastructure—a cornerstone of NCHV’s healing process. While the new riding arena is on track for completion by September 1, the barn construction requires more funding to begin this fall.
