WIMBERLEY, TX – February 18, 2021 – Through a partnership with Government Marketing & Procurement, LLC (GMP), DisposeRx, the product leader in at-home medication disposal solutions, is now accessible to all Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) locations.

Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Act– established government-wide goal of awarding 3% of the total value of all prime and subcontract awards for participation by businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) released its latest Procurement Scoreboard earlier this month. Service-Disabled Veteran-owned businesses won $22 billion, or 4.4% of adjusted total procurement, from federal agencies in fiscal 2019 — beating the SBA’s 3% goal for the seventh straight year. Moreover, the SBA also recently announced that federal agencies increased prime contract awards to small business contractors, like GMP, in FY 2019.

Inc. magazine revealed that GMP is No. 3539 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

Many of GMP’s partners are holding virtual opportunities this week as an alternative to meeting face-to-face at HIMSS. GMP is excited to share that we were awarded an IDIQ contract on January 8, 2020 to provide the Vocera communication system for VA’s Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23.

As the second-largest federal government agency, The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) currently has 367,000 employees, 9.17 million Veterans Health Care System Enrollees nationwide and 5.5 million recipients of VA benefits. GMP is proud to assist the VA by providing the agency with cutting-edge solutions offered by each of GMP’s 50+ partners. As the VA increases its budget, GMP will be able to further improve the healthcare systems of the VA.

GMP is very excited about the NVSBE event next month in Nashville, TN. As we get closer to the date, we are solidifying our plans and we will be booth-sharing with five of our IT/Medical partners. To accommodate this, we have secured two large booths (#429 + #435), and because we have partners with both IT Services and Medical Supplies & Services we purposefully chose booth spaces that bordered these two sections within the exhibitor floor plan. GMP is celebrating 20 years in business this year and to mark the occasion we’re sharing a brief history of our company.

GMP has added a new partner to our VA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) 65IIA contract #36F79719D0049 and another new partner to our GSA Schedule 84: Security, Fire & Law Enforcement contract # GS-07F-187GA. We are excited to add these new partners’ products to our ever-growing portfolio and continuing to provide superior products to our government customers.

The 9th Annual National Veterans Small Business Engagement will be held December 10-11, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. This conference is one of the largest business-networking events for Veteran-Owned Small Business suppliers. The event provides an opportunity to network with Government Program Managers and Procurement Decision Makers (PDM) from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

On October 1st, the U.S. General Services Administration will be consolidating the current 24 Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) into a single schedule for products and services. This single solicitation boasts a simplified format making it easier for customers to search and purchase your goods and services. One schedule simplifies the offer process by streamlining the process with an easier set of terms and conditions.
